Coach Kristin is returning for her seventh summer of coaching the Long Reach Marlins.  She is finishing her junior year at Penn State University where she was a member of the 2005 and 2006 Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship Teams.  Kristin was named an Academic All-Big Ten team member for winter 2005 and the women’s team was honored with the award for the highest team GPA for all the varsity sports teams in March 2006.  She is majoring in Industrial Engineering and pursuing a Business minor.  Kristin will also be coaching for the Columbia Clippers swim team this summer while continuing her training for her own swimming competitions.  Kristin is looking forward to another fun and successful summer!

 

 

Coach Thomas has just finished his junior year at Mount Saint Joseph.  For the past three years he has been on the JV swim team and the last two he has been on the JV water polo team.  This past season he was one of the co-captains of the JV water polo team.  Other then sports, Thomas is a member of the Leadership Club, Environmental Club and the National Honor Society at Mount Saint Joseph.  He will also be lifeguarding for his third year at the Kendall Ridge Pool this summer. Besides coaching this summer, he will be training with the Greater Baltimore Water Polo club team. He is looking forward to his second year with the team and first year as coach.

Coach Steven is starting his 11th season with the Long Reach Marlins and excited to be named an Assistant Coach.  He completed his sophomore year at Long Reach High School where he is a member of the Varsity Soccer team and was Captain of the JV Lacrosse team.  Steven was a member of the Retriever Aquatic Club for 8 years qualifying for both Spring Short Course and Summer Long Course Zones as a Breaststroker and Individual Medley Swimmer.  Steven is excited to be on board for another great Marlins swim season.
