Hey Marlins! Welcome to the 2007 Season!! We are off to a great start! Great job to all the coaches, swimmers, and volunteers at Time Trials! Now it's time to great ready for our first meet. Don't forget to complete the Meet Availability Form and turn in to Coach Kristin or one of the Team Managers! This lets the coaches know which meets to enter your swimmer in. Plan on helping celebrate another fun season at the Awards Picnic that will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 6 - 10pm at the Kendall Ridge Pool. More details to come soon! Please see a Team Manager to check the spelling of your swimmer's name for awards.

Calling all Marlins! Our next pep rally will be held on Friday, July 20th at the Kendall Ridge Pool from 5:30 - 6:30pm. Come show your Marlin Pride, learn Team Cheers and have fun!! Light Refreshments will be served.

This is our last dual meet of the season! It is an AWAY MEET! Please plan on arriving at the Kendall Ridge Pool at 6:50am to decorate cars. The caravan will leave at 7am. This meet will take place at the Longfellow Pool at 5257 Eliot’s Oak Road - Google Map. If you would like to volunteer for this meet, please contact Susan McDonald.

Marlins Trip for a Lifetime Overnight Swimming event was alot of fun!! Thanks to all the swimmers, parents, and volunteers! All pledges must be turned in by July 17th. See a Team Manager for more information.

The All City Meet will take place over 3 sessions listed below. The meet information and cutoff times can be found at the new CNSL League website - www.swimcnsl.org. There are copies of the meet notices and meet entry forms in the ALL CITY MEET FOLDER. Meet entry forms are due by Saturday July 21st. There will be no late exceptions. Please note that ALL relays will be swum at the end of each meet session. This is different than what is listed in the meet notice.

We have a Long Reach Marlins Yahoo Email Group for team communications. This group is closed to the general public. To join the email group sendan email request to Susan McDonald. After emailing a request to the Group Moderator you will receive an email invite to join the group. You must send a reply confirmation to the invitation to be placed on the group.

More information about the Columbia Neighborhood Swim League such as the Registration Form, Fees, Practice Schedules and Meet Schedules can be found on the Columbia Association Website. Registration Forms must be mailed or brought in to the Aquatics Office by June 23rd in order to swim this season - 9450 Gerwig Lane, Columbia MD 21046 Attn: CNSL Registration. Registrations may not be given to a Team Manager or Pool Staff.
